IF THE BIBLE WAS DONE AS AN EPISODE OF MTV’S REAL WORLD
How I imagine Apostle Paul’s conversation went with Cephas (Apostle Peter) if they lived today and were part of a reality tv show. (Read Galaitans 2:11-21)
Translating is difficult, but reading the Bible in Greek makes me appreciate God's Word even more.
- Greek: "φόβος οὐκ ἔστιν ἐν τῇ ἀγάπῃ, ἀλλʼ ἡ τελεία ἀγάπη ἔξω βάλλει τὸν φόβον, ὅτι ὁ φόβος κόλασιν ἔχει, ὁ δὲ φοβούμενος οὐ τετελείωται ἐν τῇ ἀγάπῃ. "
- My translation: "No fear is in love, but perfect love drives out fear because fear includes punishment, and the one who is afraid has not been perfected in love."
- NRSV translation: "There is no fear in love, but perfect love casts out fear; for fear has to do with punishment, and whoever fears has not reached perfection in love."

I made a similar vow once. And now, I’m repealing it.
Step numero uno in your walk is accepting forgiveness. If you haven’t done that, forget about Bible knowledge, and all the rest. If you haven’t fully accepted God’s forgiveness, you’re not a babe in Christ, you’re still a zygote.
Nothing wrong with that though, all we have to do is make accepting forgiveness and rejecting the emotions of guilt our top priority. We do that by living with a simple truth: yes, I am guilty, BUT I am forgiven.
