Bittersweet
I’m heading over to Thousand Oaks today to spend the next three days with my best friend. It’s bittersweet because it’ll be the last days we’ll ever get to hang out for a while. Hopefully, we’ll pick up where we left off when he returns.
I’m proud of him though. Serving God in another country is difficult. There may be political blocks. There may be cultural ones too. And there might even be a language barrier. But I know God will take care of him and use all that to show His glory to Bronson and the people of Thailand.
I hope to one day serve God in a similar fashion, although there isn’t a particular country that I have a heart for. If it is part of God’s plan, I hope it’s a country where I can serve Him by serving the kids there.
In the mean time, I need to find bittersweet chocolate to eat and match what I feel inside.
